St. Raphael is a beautiful seaside resort close to St. Tropez, linked to Cannes by the stunning Corniche d’Or. St. Raphael offers over 36km of coastline to be enjoyed with over 30 beaches that vary from fine pebbles to sand. The shady coves and inlets that are dotted along this expansive coast are also just waiting to be explored. What is more the glorious winding costal footpath that takes you all the way along the coasts makes for a lovely afternoon stroll ( and you don’t even have to walk back you can catch a bus!) Due to its expansive coastline St. Raphael offers 5 ports, the Santa Lucia marina, the old port and fish market, Boulouris port, PoussaÏ port and Agay port. All fantastic locations to set off on your nautical voyage. The area is exceptional for diving as there are several underwater archeological sites and water sports are also very popular! The nearby Estrel Mountains have several trails that are great for discovering the local flora and fauna and are also really popular with mountain bikers. Finally the town centre is fully equipped with everything you might need, including casino, and don’t forget to pay a visit to the renowned markets and artisan boutiques.
