Woody Allen filming in Antibes! Rent a boat this summer in the French Riviera to catch a glimpse!
The iconic director Woody Allen is reportedly making his way to Antibes to film a new movie based in the Cote d’Azur. The film is believed to be a period comedy, based in the 1920’s or 30’s, though this is not confirmed. Like many of Allen’s films, it boasts an all-star cast led by Oscar-winner Colin Firth and The Help actress Emma Stone.
According to local French newspapers, Mr. Allen will be renting the Villa Eilenroc in Antibes, a building dating back to 1860.

This is the second time Allen has chosen France as a set for one of his films. His latest movie Blue Jasmine, which was launched this week, is a domestic drama based in New York and stars Cate Blanchett and Alec Baldwin. However, many of Allen’s recent films have had a more European twist, such as Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Midnight in Paris and To Rome With Love.
